Subjektive Meinung: Dies ist die, mit vier Episoden vollständige, erste OVA von Sakura Wars, welches seine Wurzeln in dem gleichnamigen Videospiel für das SEGA Saturn hat.Sakura Wars macht Spaß. Es ist kein schöpferischer Höhepunkt in der Filmgeschichte, aber die verschiedenen Charaktere, auch wenn man das alles schon einmal gesehen hat, sind in Kombination mit den dampfbetriebenen (!) Mechas auf alle Fälle unterhaltsam. Tiefgründigkeit und Antworten auf die Fragen des Lebens kann man nicht finden. Aber man wird für 120 Minuten gut mit Action, Spannung, Witz und einem tollen Soundtrack unterhalten. Weitere Informationen: Neben dem bereits erwähntem Konsolenspiel gibt es noch weitere Ableger von Sakura Wars, so z.B. eine TV-Serie. Mittlerweile hat sich OVA-Films dem Vertrieb für Deutschland angenommen. |
